 Or if you're living in Europe, a shoe store might open at 8am CET. As for when people are generally done shopping for shoes? That usually falls between 4pm EST or 5pm CET (depending both on which time zone that person is from and what time they close).

But generally, around the world, shoe stores open early in the morning and close late in the day.

When shoe stores open.

Stores which sell shoes no longer have to be closed on Sunday, which is the day when many people get off work and go shopping for clothing or other goods. Nowadays, stores can open whenever they want, even on Sunday.

 In some areas of the US and the UK, this is common. Stores are usually open from midday to midnight or later because competition between businesses is fierce today and customers increasingly demand convenience.

Shoe stores are trying to reduce their own costs by getting rid of fixed working hours for staff so that money goes towards customer service rather than expensive labour expenses during what may be a slow period of time in an office or store in a particular area.

The move away from the official Sunday rest day has been met with resistance by some religious leaders. However, since many people do not follow religion, the new laws have been accepted by most in the community.

Some communities have complained that the new system means that stores may be open on Easter Sunday or Christmas Day and this can create a problem for workers who are not paid overtime.

Many people also complain that shops which open late at night show films to try to get customers in and this means it can be difficult to sleep.

Since a change in the laws, there have been many changes in the way shops operate. It has meant that some stores can open at 7am instead of 10am. Stores are also being opened earlier in the morning so that people can stock up before they go to work.

The change also means that mail-order shoe companies have increased their customer base because now there are more customers who buy shoes online and at a later time than before.

 Mail-order businesses are also less expensive to run than a normal shop because you do not need to pay for the rent and staff costs.
